01Context

Manual attendance made overnight shift recaps difficult and could not confirm that staff were actually on site. Leave requests were mixed into chat threads and easily lost.

02Approach

    Server-side location checks with the Haversine formula and rejection of poor GPS accuracy.

  2. 02

    Selfie capture, actual shift selection, and support for overnight shifts and office hours around holidays.

  3. 03

    Leave, sick, and field-duty requests with admin approval, one-device binding, and automatic recaps.

03Outcome

  • More accurate attendance because location, photo, and shift are captured in one flow.
  • Admins no longer recap by hand; monthly summaries and CSV exports come from the app.
  • Leave requests have clear status and approval history.
