01Context

Plywood production flows are long and interconnected. A layout drawing is needed to show machine positions and material movement so the relationships between areas are easy to read.

02Approach

    Read the existing plan and grouped areas by production stage.

  2. 02

    Traced the log flow from the log pond and log cutting through rotary, dryer, press, finishing, and packing.

  3. 03

    Prepared a single-sheet CAD drawing for presentation and layout discussions.

03Outcome

  • A single layout drawing mapping the plywood production areas and flow.
  • Made it easier to discuss potential material-flow and distance improvements.
  • Provided a base for further factory layout analysis.
