01Context
Manual sales and stock records drifted easily. A shop owner needed software that worked without a server or subscription and did not depend on a browser.
02Approach
- 01
Built a Flask + SQLite backend for transactions, purchasing, stock mutations, discounts, tax, and multiple payment methods.
- 02
Designed the checkout flow, master data, gross-profit reports, best sellers, and CSV exports.
- 03
Wrapped the app with pywebview and packaged it through PyInstaller for Windows and Linux.
03Outcome
- Faster checkout, with receipts that can be reprinted from history.
- Stock moves automatically from sales, purchases, and adjustments.
- Sales, profit, and stock reports export without opening a spreadsheet.
